My short review of Suicide Squad :)

Hello again, today i will be talking about my thoughts on Suicide Squad. We saw the new movie on august 5th in an almost full cinema which added to the experience and excitement of finally seeing the film after it was announced almost 2 years ago. With all the negative reviews that came out right before the movies release my expectations were lowered which i guess then made me enjoy the movie more.When i first heard about the movie i didn't really know much about the characters other than Harley and the Joker but from watching the movie they didn't really seem to care much about the characters backstories other than Deadshot, Harley and Diablo. I wish they had shown some sort of backstory for Killer Croc and that they hadn't cut so much of harley backstory that was even in all the trailers.
So the actual plot of the movie was nothing new really but I enjoyed it because of the characters and their interactions, there were a few bad things that really stood out, especially the villain. Once we got near the end of the movie it became another one of the movies where the main characters have to fight a large amount of faceless CGI characters to defeat a villain with some sort of plan to destroy the world with no reason and no real plan, I felt that this was the only negative point about the whole film.
I finally watched Batman V Superman a few days before we saw Suicide Squad and i enjoyed the references but it didn't quite feel as connected to the other DC movies as Marvel connects their movies.
I hope that when Suicide Squad is released on DVD and Blu-ray they have some sort of extended cut that at least includes what was cut from the trailer such as (left picture) Joker appearing after the helicopter crash as well as more backstory for all the members of the Squad. I think that will do for now as my first movie review on here, but i may review it again if an extended cut is released. I will include our Vlog of when we saw the film below.

general update and overwatch

Hello again, I thought that today id do a general update blog post. So recently as you know we have kind of restarted the YouTube channel, changed the name and started doing Vlogs. It's still strange to be out somewhere and have to hold up a camera in front of your face and talk to yourself but I'm slowly getting used to it i guess. We try to film when we know we are actually doing something that may be somewhat interesting to other people so we seem to make maybe 2-3 videos a week.

One of the new things is that i have recently started playing overwatch so i thought id talk about that briefly. I feel that its a good game if you want something to play for maybe an hour and play a few matches but the content doesn't vary enough to make me want to play it for hours at a time. I like that there are a lot of different characters but there is no incentive to really try different character so i always seem to play as either Pharah, Junkrat or Mccree. But hopefully the longer the game has been out then the more content will be added (hopefully free).

Our first tripod

Hello again, Jut a quick update. Our second vlog is now up and we have already filmed enough for our third one. The other day we received our first tripod which we used in some of our third video which will probably be up sometime tomorrow if anyone is interested. Our tripod came in a massive box that was probably at least four times bigger than it needed to be, it comes in its own little bag with a strap so its very easy to store and move around. So far the tripod seems good quality for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their first tripod or anyone looking for a good low budget tripod.

Vlog 2 on the way

Hello again, just wanted to let you know that we are currently working on our second Vlog. We did a lot more filming than we did for our first one so there will be more variety in the Vlog clips. Over the last few days we have gotten a few more views than before and a few more subscribers so if thats any of you reading this then thank you. I was planning on using a different program to edit our videos but there were too many problems with the file types so for now we will continue to use movie maker. If anyone can suggest some good free editing software in the comments that would be great.

           

So another new thing is that we have just purchased our very first tripod. since its our first we just got the Amazon basics 60-inch tripod, we will probably only use it while we are at home or maybe if we are going somewhere we will only use a tripod and not the shoulderPod. I'm also thinking of taking the tripod with us when we go to disneyland paris in september to film some stuff in our hotel like talking about what we have done each day.

Regular updates

Helllo again, hopefully these will be regular posts now. So since yesterday i was finally able to get some intro templates and the correct software to edit them and also changed the YouTube channel name. We are still trying to work out what to do for our first video but we have filmed our very first few Vlog clips which we will edited a few days of clips together for one video.
so this blog post is really to just let you know that hopefully soon we will be having regular uploads and blog updates.

New Start on Youtube

So me and my fiance have decided to both start a YouTube channel by improving my current YouTube channel and deciding what new content we want to make. We still need to come up with a name for our channel and find out if we can change my old channel name, but we have decided that we don't want to be stuck on one specific category of content. The main thing we haven't done is made an intro for our videos which is what i am making today.

One thing that we agreed on was that we want to do some sort of vlog occasionally so we got the shoulderPod S1 to use with our phones rather than spending a lot on a camera that we would only use for YouTube when we already have decent cameras on our Iphones. The shoulderPod adds more weight to the phone and seems to make videos more stable, it also makes it a lot easier to record and take pictures with one hand. Also since it comes with a wrist strap you are a lot less likely to drop your phone. you can remove the handle extension to attach the grip to any standard tripod or camera rig.                                                                           

I think that it for now until we edit together our first new video and decide on a name and intro, also i need to get used to using editing software other than windows movie maker to get a more professional look for our videos.

Big Update

Once again its been a long time since my last Blog post.

 A lot has happened since my last post, mainly that me and my fiance are now living together in our own little place. i'm still not currently working but suggested that we started to look at moving out and find our own place and we were able to afford it.my fiance looked at the first place and right away said she wanted it but luckily they only wanted one person to live there and not a couple. That first place was so so tiny in comparison to the flat that we have got, everything was too close together and there was no space in between anything and every room led right into the next.


But the place we have got has large rooms and a long and wide corridor which makes it look like there is a lot more space.
Since we first looked at the flat we knew exactly what furniture we wanted and where everything would go. luckily we have been able to do probably 95% of what we wanted since then. we have the sofa we wanted down one end of the living room and the large TV unit with all the storage exactly where we wanted them. we have our two glass display cabinets either side of our large table, one full of disney and the other of various figures and replicas.

late update on yotube channel

sorry its been a while since my last blog post. I could say I've been busy but I haven't really, the whole YouTube and blog thing somewhat came to a halt since I started trying to post proper videos that were more than two minutes long. I tried to upload a video of various clips yet the estimated was over one thousand minutes for it to upload and once I hit upload I cannot use the internet for anything else until it has uploaded.
so I think I might be able to upload it in two part then on YouTube combine the two and save as a new video. so far I've got a video of the bootleg Beatles, Jessie J and warner bros studio tour London. I also have loads of photos and vlog style clips from our trip to Disneyland Paris back in November which I want to edit together into maybe five minute short videos of each day. after that I'll see what sort of feedback I get and will try to do some sort of vlog with my fiancé and do more regular blog posts if people are interested.

even if people aren't interested in this sort of thing of nobody is reading this I still enjoy having a place to write my thoughts and express my feelings.

YouTube

Today is a good day for me since I feel my YouTube channel is starting to work. I am now lucky enough to have 20 subscribers and over 30,000 views. Also I have started this Blog which gets a few views which makes me feel like someone out there must be listening to me. Me and my fiancé are going to gradually start creating content for YouTube, probably in the form of vlogs. 

The first Vlog style videos will be of our trip to the Warner Bros studio tour in London and of our week at Disneyland Paris where we got engaged. These videos should be up within the next week or two.

Day 2

So, day two, what to talk about..... I think il talk about what I collect. I began collect about 4 years ago, I always kept most of my toys so I was already kind of collecting. I first started collecting comic books and a few funko pop vinyl figures. My first comic book was the new 52 Batman and robin #1 and my first pop figures were Sheldon from the Big Bang theory and Stitch. Over the years my fiancé has gone from not being that interested to collecting her own comics and figures too. This has now become something we enjoy doing together and going to our favourite shop in Bristol, forbidden planet. Over the 4 years I now have over 20 pop figures, 2 long boxes of various comic books and a display cabinet full of various figures and replicas.

I will gradually be talking more about what I have collected and will post various pictures.

Second post

so second post but my first proper post. I thought id start by telling you all a few things about myself, hello my name is Jordan (explains the Blog name), I am 22, I currently live with my parents...again, I am engaged to a beautiful girl called Porshia and we have been together for almost 4 years now, that's the basics done.
Now for more detail. Like most people I don't really know how to describe myself but il give it a go. I wold describe myself as spiritual, quiet, artistic, musical and a collector. I class myself as not having any friends other than my fiancé who is my best and only friend. I have always found it difficult to make friends or to keep friends which is very frustrating as I really want friends and want to feel somewhat normal.
I think that will do for now as an intro about myself.
